Getting there

Note A small, spectacular cove between dramatic cliffs, reached via a path down from the clifftop — one of the only true rock-anchored reef breaks on the whole Egyptian Mediterranean coast, and the premium wave in the country when it aligns.

Hazards

REEF Sharp, shallow reef bottom — this is a genuine rock-anchored break, not a shifting sandbar. Booties recommended.
RIP NW/N swell builds a strong channel current off the point on bigger days — use it to get out, respect it.
REMOTE ACCESS Steep clifftop path down to the cove — no easy bailout, plan your session and gear accordingly.
OFFSHORE WIND Best with S/SE wind blowing offshore — when it aligns with a genuine NW/N swell, this produces a remarkably perfect left.
