These terms govern your use of Sessions (the "Service"), operated by Rodrigo J. Pla Escalante, trading as Stōhkt (VAT ID ES26888711D), based in Spain. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Sessions is a Mediterranean surf forecast atlas: live wave/wind conditions per spot, community-submitted session logs, and optional alerts. It's a free reference tool, with an optional paid "Pro" tier for extra features.
Sea conditions can hurt or kill you. Sessions shows forecast data pulled from third-party weather models, adjusted over time by community reports. It is not a safety guarantee. The Mediterranean is inconsistent and conditions can change quickly and unpredictably. Always use your own judgment, check conditions in person before entering the water, respect local warnings and lifeguard flags, and never surf beyond your ability. We are not responsible for injury, death, or property loss resulting from reliance on information shown on this site.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up. You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page — see our Privacy Policy for what that removes.
Session logs, ratings, and any other content you submit remain yours. By submitting it, you grant us a license to use it (including in aggregated or anonymized form) to operate and improve the forecast for the whole community. Don't submit anything false, illegal, or that you don't have the right to share.
Alerts are delivered on a best-effort basis. We don't guarantee timely or reliable delivery of any email notification, and you shouldn't rely on an alert as your only way of knowing conditions have changed.
Pro and Lifetime purchases are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card details — Stripe handles that directly and securely.
Where a refund is issued, the amount refunded is net of any payment processing fees retained by Stripe, which are non-refundable to us.
Under EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate access to the Service, and you expressly waive this right once you begin using Pro or Lifetime features.
Spot pages link to third-party services — Google Maps, Waze, surf shops, restaurants, and an embedded Windy.com map/webcam. These are provided for convenience. We don't control, verify, or endorse the accuracy or availability of any third-party site, business, or listing.
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stōhkt and Rodrigo J. Pla Escalante are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on forecast data or third-party links.
We may update these terms from time to time — the date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or violate these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
