Hazards

OFFICIALLY CLOSED Closed since 2023-2024 due to dangerous rockfalls from the unstable clay cliffs above the beach — access road and parking are both shut. Any access is at your own risk with zero facilities.
ROCKFALL RISK The core reason for the closure: debris and soil regularly slide from the steep clay coastline onto the sand below.
BIG WINTER SWELL, WHEN ACCESSIBLE When it was open, a strong North swell in winter could push waves up to 8ft — one of the biggest, most serious breaks in the Balearics.
RARE HEAVY RIGHT On the rare big winter day, a heavyweight right breaks over a rock ledge — historically ridden only a handful of times.
