Hazards

DUMPING Brutal Beach lives up to its name — powerful shore dump on bigger swells. Experienced swimmers only.
RIP Tramontane swell builds a strong rip through the shorebreak troughs — use it to get outside fast, but respect its power on bigger days.
LOCALS Mixed kite and surf crowd — more about sharing space with kiters than surf localism.
KITES World-class kite zone — always check kite boundaries before surfing. PWA events close zones periodically.
