Hazards

ROCKS The Peñón de Ifach creates rocky underwater hazards. Stick to sandy beach zones away from the rock base.
RIP The Peñón's base creates eddies and a pull on bigger swells — stay well clear of the rock and ride the current back toward open sand.
LOCALS Relaxed beginner scene on both Levante and Arenal-Bol — plenty of schools, easygoing about visitors.
CURRENT The rock creates currents and eddies on bigger swells. Check from the shore first.
