REEF Limestone reef bottom — booties strongly recommended. Sharp rocks on low tide.
RIP Mistral swell builds a strong rip off the reef's edge — use the deep channel beside the rocks to get out, and paddle wide of the shallow reef top.
LOCALS Small, dedicated reef crew near Marseille — experienced surfers who know the tide windows; watch first if you're unfamiliar with the reef.
MISTRAL Mistral can create storm conditions quickly. Check forecast and don't get caught in a sudden Mistral.
