Hazards

ROCKS The main beach is small and rocky at the edges — the real waves are in the calanques either side, over reef.
REEF Calanque coves have shallow reef sections — check tide and swell size before dropping in.
CROWDS Extremely busy with tourists and boat traffic in summer — off-season is far calmer.
BOAT TRAFFIC Calanque tour boats run constantly in season — stay alert in the water.
