Hazards

REEF Rocky sections protect parts of the beach — a mix of sand and reef, check the bar before committing.
RIP N/NE swell builds a rip against the protecting rocks — read the bay before paddling out.
ISOLATED Remote dirt-track access, no lifeguard, no facilities — go prepared and ideally not alone.
OFFSHORE WIND Best with S/SW wind blowing offshore off the peninsula's western flank.
