Hazards

WIND Sirocco (S/SE) and Maestrale (NW) winds can be strong. Kite and windsurf zones exist — check boundaries.
RIP Sirocco swell can build a current toward the lagoon mouth — stay on the open beach section away from the inlet.
LOCALS More a kite/windsurf crowd than a surf one — few dedicated surfers, so it's a relaxed, shared scene.
ECOLOGY Lagoon and dune areas are protected. Do not disturb flamingos or enter protected zones.
