From Alanya centre · on foot, west end of the peninsula
Airport Gazipaşa-Alanya (GZP) · 40 km · 45 min
Note One of the most recognised beaches in southern Turkey, right below Alanya Castle and the Damlataş Cave — best surfed in winter (Dec–Apr) once the tourist crowds vanish.

Hazards

SANDBAR Punchy beach break — needs the sandbars to align, which happens more reliably in winter swell events.
SW SWELL ONLY Relies almost entirely on SW winter storm swell — summer is flat.
INFORMATION Very limited surf information for Turkey. Self-sufficient approach required — bring all equipment.
CROWDS Blue Flag tourist beach in summer, but essentially empty of both tourists and surfers Dec–Apr.
