Hazards

ROCKS Les Rotes (south side) is very rocky — not for surfing. Las Marinas (north) is sandy.
RIP NE swell creates a lateral drift along the long Las Marinas beach — it's a slow, walkable current rather than a dangerous rip, but keep track of your position.
LOCALS Small, friendly Dénia crew — welcoming, low localism given the beach's length and beginner-friendly nature.
CURRENT NE swells create lateral drift along Las Marinas. Long beach — easy to walk back.
