Hazards

SANDBAR Sandy sections have decent banks on a real swell — walk the beach to find the best peak.
REEF A right-hand reef section sits at one end — rockier entry, know it before dropping in.
CROWDS Very popular tourist beach in summer — off-season is far emptier and better for a real surf check.
WINTER SWELL WINDOW Winter is genuinely the best season here — this exposed west coast catches real Ionian swell then, unlike the flat summer months.
