Hazards

BREAKWATER The breakwater structure creates the wave but also submerged rocks nearby — know the lineup before paddling out.
RIP W/NW swell builds a channel current beside the breakwater — use it to get out, mind the rocks on the inside.
LOCALS Small, low-key crew — this spot is little-known even by Cyprus standards.
INCONSISTENT Doesn't work very often — needs a genuine W/NW swell to wrap the breakwater properly.

Local knowledge

Best tide Mid to high tide
Peak season Nov–Mar · W/NW swell · Inconsistent but organizes well when it works
Swell key W/NW swell · Breakwater-formed left, mainly left-breaking · Best with offshore E wind
Level Intermediate · Mixed bottom near the breakwater · Check carefully, doesn't fire often
Dawn patrol Worth checking after a genuine W/NW swell forecast — this breakwater left is a well-kept local secret.
