REEF PATCHES Mixed sand and reef bottom — some sections are rockier, especially near the small island itself.
RIP Mistral NW swell builds a real rip on bigger days — this is one of the more powerful north-coast Sicily spots.
LOCALS Popular with Palermo surfers on a good NW swell — can get busy fast when Mistral is forecast.
MISTRAL Direct exposure to the Mistral — this is one of the most consistent spots on Sicily's north coast when it blows.
