Getting there

From Alanya centre · 2 km east of the castle peninsula
Airport Gazipaşa-Alanya (GZP) · 42 km · 45 min
Note A long 3km stretch of sand running from the old Alanya harbour east to Oba Beach — catches similar windswell to Damlataş but is often slightly more sheltered.

Hazards

SANDBAR The section nearest the harbour end has the most clearly defined sandbanks for surfing — the rest of the 3km stretch is flatter and less consistent.
BEGINNER-FRIENDLY More protected than Damlataş — gentle, rolling wind-waves on smaller days, good for learning.
SW SWELL ONLY Relies on the same SW winter storm windswell as the rest of the Alanya coast — summer is flat.
INFORMATION No surf community here — self-sufficient approach required, bring all equipment.
