SANDBAR Long open sandy beach — good banks form along its length, plenty of room to spread out.
RIP Meltemi wind-swell builds a beach-break rip on bigger days — paddle wide of the darker channels.
LOCALS Well-established surf scene for Greece — welcoming, with a real dedicated surf school on-site.
STRONG WIND Meltemi can blow hard here in summer — great for the wave, but check wind strength before committing on a small board.
