MELTEMI Meltemi is a strong summer NW wind — creates chop, not rideable surf. Oct–Mar is the surf window.
RIP NW groundswell builds lateral currents along the west-coast beaches — Plaka and Agios Georgios are long enough to drift and walk back easily.
LOCALS Tiny Cycladic surf scene — a few regulars around Naxos Town, casual and welcoming given how few surf-worthy days there are.
