Hazards

PEBBLES Steep pebble beach creates a punchy, fast shorebreak — different technique than sand, watch your landing on wipeouts.
SHOREBREAK Waves can dump hard and fast right at the pebble shore on bigger Levant swell — intermediate skill needed.
LOCALS A small but real Nice surf community exists — respectful lineup at the known peaks near the airport end.
LEVANT Nice is one of the better Côte d'Azur spots for catching a rare E Levant swell event.
