Hazards

ROCKS Rocky Lebanese coastline — booties recommended. Sandy zones are the surf areas.
RIP NW/W swell here is gentler than at Colonel Beach a few km up the coast — the camp's sheltered position keeps any current mild and manageable for learners.
LOCALS Welcoming camp-based crowd — built for teaching, so it's one of the friendliest lineups in Lebanon.
POLLUTION Check water quality after heavy rain. Lebanese coastal water quality varies by area.
