WIND NE winds that generate waves here can make conditions choppy. Works best on moderate NE — too strong and it becomes unpleasant.
RIP Wind-driven NE swell rarely builds a strong rip on this flat beach — the main current risk is minor lateral drift on bigger days.
LOCALS Quiet off-season spot — few surfers around, easygoing for first-timers and longboarders.
FLAT WATER This is the Mar Menor lagoon side of La Manga -- calm and warm, but essentially no ocean swell reaches here. Not a real surf spot.
