Note A right-hand point/reef break on the dramatic Cabo Tres Forcas peninsula — one of the most exposed setups on this coast.

Parking

Cost Free
Surface Small free lot near the point · ~25 spaces
Fills by Rarely crowded, far from the cities · Oct–Apr for surf
Walk to water ~5 min over rock
Facilities Nothing on-site · Nador 35km for full services

Hazards

REEF Rocky point with reef sections — booties recommended, low tide exposes the reef.
RIP N/NE swell builds a strong channel current off the point — use it to get out, respect it on bigger days.
REMOTE Far from any town — no lifeguard, no phone signal in places, go prepared and ideally with others.
OFFSHORE WIND Best with S/SW wind blowing offshore off the cape — this exposed point picks up a lot of swell.

Local knowledge

Best tide Mid to high tide · low tide exposes reef
Peak season Oct–Apr · N/NE swell · One of the more exposed points on this coast
Swell key N/NE swell · Right-hand point wrapping the cape · Best with offshore S/SW wind
Level Intermediate to advanced · Reef bottom · Remote
Dawn patrol Dawn patrol out at the cape on a solid N/NE swell — a genuinely wild, empty-lineup wave.
