Hazards

VERY CONSISTENT Highly exposed location — westerly waves guarantee small surf here practically every day of the year.
ORGANISED BREAK The river-mouth wall organises the swell into a genuinely long, well-shaped wave up to 100m long — unusual for this coast.
SHALLOW Sandy river-mouth sediment keeps the water shallow — mind your footing, especially at lower tide.
REED BEDS Sits in a natural setting surrounded by reed beds — one of the more scenic breaks on the Costa Tropical.
