Hazards

SANDBAR Miles of open, shifting sandbanks — wander east along the wild beach to find an uncrowded peak.
RIP Open Gulf of Lion swell builds real rip currents here on bigger days — no lifeguard once you're past the town beach.
ISOLATED The wild beach stretch has zero facilities and no phone signal in places — go prepared.
WIND Both Tramontane and Mistral can hit this exposed stretch hard — check wind direction before the drive out.
