WINDSURF/KITE PRIORITY Primarily known as a windsurfing and kitesurfing destination — hosts an annual windsurfing world championship — so share the space with a large wind-sport crowd.
OPEN BAY EXPOSURE The long, open bay setting works for both beginners learning to surf and more experienced surfers on the right swell.
SANDBAR Sandy bottom, extensive beach — banks shift along its full 6km+ length, walk to find the best peak.
PROTECTED WETLANDS Adjacent to the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà nature reserve — respect protected dune and wetland areas.
